What our founder has to say
Makeup has always been more than just a passion for me, it’s been a form of self-expression. Ever since I was a child, I was fascinated by the power of beauty products to transform and enhance. But as I grew up experimenting with different makeup, I realized something was missing.
For years, I struggled to find products that truly complemented Indian skin tones, in fact the brands who did keep Indian skin tones in mind lacked to keep the various undertones people carry. The lack of inclusive shades, the misunderstanding of undertones, and the limited options that worked across diverse complexions were gaps that needed to be filled. And that’s when the idea of ERA BEAUTY was born.
ERA is not just a brand, it’s more than that. It’s named after my mother, Era Sood, whose grace and strength inspire me every day. I wanted to build a brand that redefines beauty standards in India, making high-quality, clean, vegan, and cruelty-free cosmetics accessible to everyone. Because makeup isn’t about masking who you are but it’s about celebrating and enhancing your natural beauty.
